Gonam Raju - Associate IBOLT Director
Biography: Gonam Raju lives in Barrhead, Alberta. Since 1964, Gonam has been working in education as a teacher and administrator. He worked at the Alberta Distance Learning Center(ADLC) for over twenty years, and most recently as CEO Supervising Principal since 1997.
Gonam helped the co-founders of IBOLT to get their online courses developed for use by students. After retiring from ADLC Gonam was appointed the Registrar for Vanguard College in Edmonton and served from 2005 to 2009. Based on his extensive experience with distance learning (since 1964) Gonam was appointed Director of IBOLT in November 2009.

“Teaching Greek is my passion, though basically I am involved in administration. I have been teaching Greek in India and in Philippines for over two decades. Besides teaching Greek/NT and Education subjects I also preach wherever the Lord opens the door.”
Arun is married to Rupkatha (Rupa) and they have a teenage son. Arun is involved in a number of ministries in India. Currently, he serves as the General Secretary of the General Council of the Assemblies of God of North India (AGNI), and the Secretary of Compassion East India.

Biography: Catherine lives in Edmonton Alberta as well as Kampala Uganda. She is currently the Director of Academic Affairs, professor and accreditation consultant for Yesu Akwagala Bible College. When at home she is a realtor with REMAX Real Estate, a District Area Pastor for the PAOC and an Associate Pastor with a PAOC church called New Hope Christian Assembly.
Her previous experience has included Corporate Chaplaincy for a national manufacturing company All Weather Windows, a corporate business consulting, speaker for leadership seminars, manager and creator of a youth and children’s ministry that required over 20 staff and 90 volunteers for Hope Mission, and an overseer’s teacher in Tanzania and the Ukraine Biblical Colleges.
Part of her philosophy of teaching is coaching students through the learning process to facilitate development in their educational, relational and character processes.

Biography: Anil V. Satralkar comes from Maharashtra State of India. He served as an associate Pastor at the Christian Faith Centre, Chembur, Mumbai during 1984-86. During this period God enabled him to pioneer a church in the suburbs of Mumbai. Later the Lord led him to the ministry of theological education. Since 1993 he has been living and serving in the Kolkata, West Bengal. Before coming to Kolkata, he served as the Academic Dean at the Eastern Bible College, Dimapur, Nagaland. He received his ministry credentials and ordination from the Assemblies of God of East India. At present he serves as the Academic Dean and teaches at the Assembly of God Church, Buntain Theological College. He lives with his wife Ashalata Satralkar and two daughters Ashnil and Anisha.
He assisted in establishing and coordinated the ministry of seven extension Bible Schools under the umbrella of the Assembly of God Church, Kolkata. He also assisted in the Pastoral ministry of the adult section of the Assembly of God Church Kolkata for six years. Apart from his involvement in the theological education, he serves as the Vice President of the Bridge of Life. He is also the co-founder along with his wife for the First Love Ministries of India in Kolkata nurturing, caring, lodging, boarding and educating fully orphan and abandoned girls. Anil finds it a great privilege to be on the faculty of the Instructors at the IBOLT since 2009.

Biography: Tina Strutt is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and an ordained minister with the PAOC. Tina currently lives in Ottawa, Ontario with her husband and three children. Tina has developed a private counselling practice that has been running strong since 2006. Her specialties include pre-marital, marriage and family, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief and loss and a variety of personal life transitional issues. Tina is an active volunteer in her church and community and loves to hang with her family, run long distance, tackle DIY home renos, and get a great shopping deal. Tina’s higher education work history includes Trinity Western University, Providence University College and Seminary, Summit Pacific College and Master’s College and Seminary. Her experience includes student development, small groups, counselling, and teaching. She developed and directed the Counselling Foundations Program at Summit Pacific College in BC for eight years, equipping students for pastoral counselling ministry and preparing them for further counselling education at an MA level.

Gerry Johnson - Co-founder IBOLT
Biography: Gerry served in pastoral ministry in Alberta and Ontario. He also served as Director of World Mission Communications for the PAOC, President of Vanguard College, Executive Director of Mission of Mercy and as principal of International Biblical Online Leadership Training (IBOLT). For the past eight years he has served on the pastoral staff of Mill Woods Assembly in Edmonton as Senior Associate of Leadership Advancement. Gerry and his wife Karen have three grown children and five grandchildren.
Education: Diploma in Theology, Vanguard College; Honors M.A. in Leadership and Management, Briercrest Seminary.
Biography: Burton K. Janes is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador (PAONL). He was involved in parish work for 15 years, and another 15 as the Managing Editor of Good Tidings and Archivist with the PAONL. He and his wife, Sherry, live in Bay Roberts, NL, and have two grown children, Krista and Christopher. Burton’s "shadow" is his (mostly) border collie, Madisyn. Burton is an online instructor for three colleges and writes a weekly column, "Just wondering," for his local newspaper. He is the author of several books, including eight in his History of Churches series. He is the editor of Beyond Aslan: Essays on C.S. Lewis, published by Bridge-Logos.

Biography: Nathan is originally from the east coast of Canada however he now resides in Ontario with his wife Mandy where he is an Associate Pastor at a local PAOC assembly. Nathan has a passion for teaching and loves to interact with future leaders as they prepare for the various tasks God has called them to. Nathan and Mandy have three children: Benjamin, Sophia, and Spencer.

Biography: Jay and his wife Kathy-Sue, along with their three children live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Jay serves as lead pastor of Journeys Church where he shares his passion of proclaiming, singing, and enacting the story of God in worship and mission. Jay loves mountain top experiences… skiing with the family each February break. His favourite recent quote is from his 8 year old daughter Holly, “When I walk to school, I hear God talking to me.”

Jeremy C. Simms
Biography: Jeremy C. Simms is originally from Reidville, Newfoundland. He is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador, and has been in full-time ministry since 2011. Since then he has served as Youth and Children’s Pastor in St. Anthony, NL; Interim Senior Pastor in Rocky Harbour, NL and currently on staff as Youth and Children’s Pastor at Westside Tabernacle in Corner Brook, NL. Jeremy and his wife Jenny, also credentialed with the PAONL, have just recently welcomed their first child, a daughter Adelyn. Jeremy has a desire for youth, children and young adult ministry, to pastor a generation into the heart of the Gospel by helping young disciples to develop on their journey with Christ so that they may discover their giftings that God has given them. He also has a strong passion teaching.

In 1989, Rob's ministry began in Ontario where he youth pastored in Christian Life Assembly (Thornhill), Mississauga Gospel Temple (now Portico), and Parkwood Gospel Temple (Windsor). Moving to Selkirk, Manitoba, Rob led his first church, Bethel Chapel. After serving as Assistant Pastor (Adult Ministries) in Terrace Pentecostal Assembly (Terrace, BC), Rob returned to Manitoba where he served as District Ministry Director in the Manitoba & Northwestern Ontario District Office of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. For nine years Rob served as Lead Pastor of Bethel Tabernacle, Ladysmith, before accepting the call to serve as a Community Life Pastor at Beulah Alliance Church, Edmonton, Alberta, where Rob spends his days coaching and training both teams and individual leaders.
Rob is also the founder of The Leadershop Institute, offering leadership training workshops to churches and organizations. Whether Rob is teaching in Canada or abroad; whether he is teaching in ministry training schools, secular universities or churches; or whether Rob is teaching higher education courses or leadership training workshops, Rob's passion for Jesus, His Word and His Kingdom are best expressed when he teaches and mentors tomorrow's ministers.
